Hand-packed yellowfin tuna belly, preserved in olive oil.

Ortiz Ventresca is made from the tender belly of yellowfin tuna, known in Spain as Atún Claro. This prized cut is celebrated for its soft, juicy texture and rich, delicate flavour.

Prepared using traditional methods, the tuna belly is carefully cleaned and packed by hand by Ortiz’s expert artisans. Preserved simply in olive oil with a touch of salt, it offers a clean, refined expression of Spanish tinned seafood.

Best enjoyed straight from the tin with crusty artisan sourdough or baguette. It is also excellent with ripe tomatoes, roasted peppers, Mediterranean pasta, or a few drops of good balsamic vinegar.
