Ortiz White Tuna Ventresca is made from the most tender and delicate part of the white tuna, also known as Bonito del Norte. This prized belly cut is appreciated for its soft texture, refined flavour, and elegant richness.
Prepared using traditional methods, the ventresca is carefully cleaned and packed by hand by Ortiz’s expert artisans. Preserved simply in olive oil with a touch of salt, it offers a clean and premium expression of Spanish tinned seafood.
Best enjoyed straight from the tin with crusty artisan sourdough or baguette. It also pairs beautifully with ripe tomatoes, roasted peppers, simple salads, Mediterranean pasta, or a few drops of good balsamic vinegar.
