Working Together
Share
A bakery is shaped by the people who show up each day, and by how they work together.
At Croisserie, the work is steady, repetitive, and demanding in ways that are not always visible. It requires attention, patience, and a willingness to learn over time. Progress here is rarely sudden. It is built through consistency and care.
We look for people who are interested in the work itself — in understanding why things are done a certain way, and in taking responsibility for doing them well. Skill matters, but attitude matters more. Curiosity, reliability, and respect for process are what allow skills to develop.
The work extends beyond the kitchen. Front of house plays an equally important role — welcoming guests, handling the details of service, and carrying the bakery’s values into daily interaction. Whether preparing bakes, assisting with production, or supporting customers at the counter, each role contributes to how the bakery is experienced as a whole.
Working here means learning to move with others. Timing, communication, and shared standards shape the day as much as individual effort. The work asks for focus, but it also asks for generosity — toward colleagues, toward the process, and toward the people we serve.
Growth is gradual. There is space to learn, to make mistakes, and to improve, provided there is commitment to the work and to the people around it. We value those who are prepared to stay with a process long enough to understand it.
From time to time, we welcome applications for roles across the bakery, including bakery retail assistants, baker commis, and pastry commis.
If this way of working resonates with you, we are always open to hearing from people who want to be part of the team.
